Capital Strategies participated in the 2016 ACTEC Southern Regional Meeting held April 22-24 at the Grand Bohemian Hotel in Mountain Brook, Alabama. David Byers, Will Worrell and Hudson Williams of Capital Strategies offered a presentation on split-dollar life insurance funding with Birmingham attorney and ACTEC fellow Dale Stone moderating. Capital Strategies then partnered with Northern Trust to host a dinner at the home of Capital Strategies’ principal John Carter and his wife, Molly.
M Financial hosted its 2016 National Advisors Conference at the Streamsong Resort outside of Tampa, Florida, in February, 2016. The National Advisors Conference brings together M producers and invitee professional advisors for three days of tax, insurance, and estate planning seminars, as well as “a little golf”. David Byers of Capital Strategies participated on a panel along with two Holland and Knight attorneys.
